Paul Cancellieri is a National Board Certified eighth-grade science teacher at Rolesville Middle School in North Carolina. After starting his professional life as a scientist, Paul discovered a passion for teaching and has spent the past 23 years engaging students with his science experience and sense of humor. He leverages a strong understanding of power and pitfalls of educational technology to help teachers create engaging learning opportunities, especially in the areas of grading/assessment and the integration of AI.
Paul earned a fellowship from the Kenan Fellows Program in 2011 and continues to give back by serving on the faculty, crafting and delivering hands-on learning experiences to some of the best teachers in North Carolina. In 2016, he coauthored Creating a Culture of Feedback with William M. Ferriter, tapping into his expertise in technological innovations that inspire teachers to provide more high-quality feedback to students.
